Roel Messie is Chief Executive Officer of IDH Investment Management B.V., the manager of the Farmfit Fund. IDH Investment Management B.V. is wholly owned by IDH, the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH), an international organisation that convenes, manages and finances large programs with multinational and smaller companies, governments and civil society organisations in fifteen different industry sectors around the globe. Roel joined IDH in 2018 and prior to that held various management positions in the Dutch development bank FMO and worked for ABN AMRO Bank. He has over 30 years of investment experience and holds a Master degree in Law from the University of Leiden.
