Oscar is currently the Deputy Data Commissioner responsible for Complaints, Investigations and Enforcement at the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. He is an Audit and Investigations professional with over 17 years of experience working in both the private and public sectors. Oscar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He has extensive experience having worked in the banking industry and in one of the Big Four Audit Firms (PwC) as a consultant in Performance Improvement in IT Effectiveness. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has also served in various taskforces that have delivered various guidelines for Data Privacy and Artificial Intelligence.
