Amrik Heyer has developed and led a wide-ranging research programme on inclusive finance at FSD Kenya since 2010. Working closely with government and private sector, Amrik focuses on applying and communicating data and analysis to support policy change and innovation.

From her earlier research work on gender and markets in central Kenya, Amrik has a particular interest in forging closer links between finance and the real economy to support inclusive growth, especially for women and MSEs. More recently, Amrik has been supporting FSD’s work in agriculture through developing a research agenda to drive more inclusive and sustainable systems.
