Charlotte Keijser is an Innovation Manager at IDH FarmFit Intelligence Center. IDH FarmFit has launched the highly anticipated FarmFit Insights Hub, which shares insights in how smallholder inclusive business models can deliver positive outcomes for businesses and the farmers with whom they work. The Hub connects companies, investors, donors and support organizations to the data and insights they need to make smarter decisions on where and how to invest in smallholder-inclusive business models. Charlotte has been leading work on the collection of comparable farm- and household level data that underpin the inclusive business model analyses that are used to generate insights shared on the Hub. She is passionate about combining her academic background in Economic Development and experience as a researcher in the field of regional and global value chains with practical insights to contribute to the transformation of smallholder markets. She holds a PhD in Innovation, Economics and Governance for Development from the United Nations University-MERIT in the Netherlands.
