Duncan Oyaro is the project manager for the agriculture and processing project at FSD Kenya. Duncan has a passion for agriculture and development finance. He has over 10 years of experience in managing and coordinating projects that aim to improve the livelihoods of smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs in Kenya. During his tenure at FSD Kenya, he has supported several financial and real economy players in agriculture, health, education, manufacturing and construction develop scalable finance solutions that have been successful in the market. He has also participated in the development of Kenya’s movable collateral registry, the credit information sharing framework and supported various financial institutions develop and implement innovative strategies to make finance more inclusive. Duncan holds a master’s degree in financial planning from the King John Charles University in Spain. He is passionate about developing innovative solutions for poverty alleviation and a firm believer of home-grown solutions to local challenges.
