Emmastella Gakuo, an Innovations management practitioner and entrepreneur, serves as the Co-founder and Director of Operations at Savanna Circuit Tech, a pioneering manufacturing and last-mile distribution company headquartered in Kenya. Savanna Circuit Tech is focused on implementing innovative, climate-smart post-harvest management solutions through IoT- enabled mobile solar coolers and dehydrators, combined with seamless software integration, significantly reducing post-harvest losses. She is also a Leaders in Innovations Fellow with the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Emmastella remains an ardent advocate for building frugal solutions that promote access, adoption, and sustainability in agri-value chains. She serves as a board member of JuzaAdapt, an initiative that educates rural communities on climate change.
