Dr. Godefroy Grosjean works for the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT where he currently co-leads the CGIAR Sustainable Finance activities. Previously he led the Alliance’s Climate Action work in Asia and was global leader for the Climate Action Advisory Services.

Godefroy works with private investors in designing and implementing investment solutions in Climate-Smart food systems. Godefroy has more than ten years of work experience blending technical assistance for climate policy and investment design with management and implementation of development projects. Godefroy holds a PhD from the Technical University of Berlin and a Master in Public Administration from the London School of Economics.
