Shreejit Borthakur is a Senior Innovation Manager and Technology Lead at IDH. He works across IDH programs to test and scale various digital and non-digital technologies that can benefit smallholder farmers  while also reducing the environmental footprint of agriculture. His work focuses on three broad clusters of technology: a) technology for net-zero agriculture b) technology for remote monitoring of development outcomes, and c) technology for smallholder service delivery.

Furthermore, through the Digital Ecosystems Coalition for Smallholder Farming (a multi stakeholder partnership), he focuses on evaluating the business and impact case for data-sharing and creating an enabling environment to facilitate B2B data transfer for optimized service delivery for smallholder farmers. Prior to joining IDH, he has worked as an agritech consultant and undertaken projects for scaling technologies for smallholder farmers in South Asia and East Africa
