Wen E Chin is a Manager at Climate Policy Initiative (CPI), leading the Agrifood Investment Connector (the Connector) team of the ClimateShot Investor Coalition (CLIC). She dedicates her efforts to helping early and growth-stage agribusinesses unlock climate finance, while supporting investors source investible high-quality climate and nature-positive agrifood businesses in developing economies. As part of the process to facilitate investment decisions, she leads the team with the support of external experts in providing SMEs with technical assistance on the assessment of climate and nature risks and impacts in preparation for investor pitching and due diligence.

Wen E started her career with UBS Wealth Management in Singapore, after 11 years she moved to South Africa and joined the investment team of the most active pan-Africa venture capital fund, Launch Africa Ventures. She obtained her MBA at IE Business School, Spain and holds certificates in ESG investing from the CFA institute and IMM for SDGs from Duke University.
