David is Director at Briter Bridges and Lead of their recently launched Agbase programme. Agbase is a multi-year programme, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), to increase investment and innovation in Agtech in Africa. David has over a decade of experience working in innovative financing in emerging markets. Most recently he has been working with a range of public and private sectors to help shape investment into innovation ecosystems across Africa with a specific focus on Agriculture, Climate, Finance and Deeptech.
