Hafsah is the Founder and CEO of CoAmana. She is a Behavioral Economist with years of experience in design, data and field testing of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) finance and market information products across Sub-Saharan (SSA) Africa. She has published works on agriculture and farmer behavior.

She has spent her years supporting companies, financial institutions, agriculture platforms and research institutions to design better models for scale, uptake and efficiency. She is an Acumen Fellow and a passionate social entrepreneur with a dedicated history of driving the use of digital and financial solutions to alleviate poverty in SSA. Hafsah holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town where she won the commerce faculty award for excellence in environmental policy.
