Kennedy Chelang’a is a digital transformation and technology leader who bridges the gap between emerging technology and real-world impact. As Global Digital Products Lead and Technology Advisor at CARE USA, he leads a portfolio of digital, data, and AI-enabled initiatives across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, translating complex organisational challenges into scalable technology solutions. His work spans technology strategy, digital product leadership, and end-to-end delivery, from identifying opportunities and shaping solutions to implementation, adoption, and scale.

With experience spanning CARE, AGRA, Microsoft, AMREF Health Africa, and a broad network of technology partners, development organisations, and public- and private-sector stakeholders, Kennedy brings a cross-sector perspective on AI innovation, digital platforms, emerging technologies, and large-scale technology delivery. He is particularly interested in translating technological potential into practical, sustainable solutions through responsible AI adoption, effective technology governance, and the development of secure, scalable, and interoperable digital ecosystems.

Kennedy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from Strathmore University.
